kuroi
Lead by a black king, many feel the Kuroi are "Dark" and evil - not true for all, but the rumors have caused many vicious ones to come to this area.

Those who follow Kuroi, a god who "looks" like Shaber, will give their life for what they believe is right. They believe that shame is horrible and cannot be endured - aka, they will kill themselves.

NO POWERPLAYING (controlling someone elses character) OR GODMODING (pretending you character is invincible).

Posts must be at least five sentences long (not including dialogue). This is the bare minimum. I will increase this length if people are barely posting this much. Come on! Tell about the surroundings and what your character is thinking. It's not hard.

This is a wild horse RPG. This means no exotic or fantasy creatures allowed, and no humans. Nothing except horses unless you ask me and I say fine.

You must be at least 13 or older to join. Not my rule - it's proboards.

Cladre does NOT, and will not, allow sex talk. Many of my friend's sites and other sites I have been on have been deleted for failure to follow these rules.

You may swear in character, just don't go overboard. To much and I will eliminate this rule and there will be no swearing.

You may not talk racsist, sexist, insult religions or anything else to the players. They are your family here, and I will ban you. Poof. You can insult other character while In Character, though.

Unless you post absent if you leave do not log on and make a post for a long time you could be deleted.

NO SPAMMING! It is annoying, and I will ban you. Forever.

Fighting

You have seven (7) days to reply to a challenge. If you do not reply in that time and have not posted in "absent" you will lose what is being fought over.

My staff and I will decide winner. Don't tell us life isn't fair - we are law. Our word is fair. Fight, and you are automatically disqualified.

Stallions can challenge for terras, mares, and ranks while mares can only challenge for higher ranks (Queen, lead, etc.)

TO CHALLENGE FOR A TERRA YOU MUST HAVE ATLEAST 3 ACTIVE MARE

You may NOT refuse a challenge - accept or you will lose your territory

If a stallion fights for a mare or herd the mare/herd MUST go with him and stay for atleast a week before fleeing. After a week, you may try to escape or stay, or whatever you want.

Claiming Mares and Territories

ONLY stallions can claim mares.

You can't force a mare into your herd, it the player's choice whether she goes with you or not, but stallions are always stronger than mares if they are about the same size (a fallabella stallion will not be stronger than a shire mare, however).

You can claim as many mares as you want - but you must have enough time for them all.

You can not claim a mare played by yourself. Then you are just basically posting by yourself... which gets boring and annoying.

You may ask a King for a terra, or, if one has been vacated, claim it. If he wants you to fight for one before he will give you one, do what he says. His word is law.

You must tell me the herd updates, so I can update the herd (duh!). If I see you have not done this, your stallion's claim will be void and another stallion may have it.

Breeding

To say you breeded, just message me saying [character 1 and character 2 bred]

You can breed anywhere

You may breed in Summer or Winter

Foaling occurs 1 week after breeding

Foals

You may only Foal in Spring or Autumn (seasons change every Monday)

Foals age like this:

1 week = 1 year

at three the foal is an adult and it starts to age regularly

4 months = 1 year

After three weeks your foal is 3, meaning it can go off on its own.

If you either parent does not want *tear* to play the foal once it is three you can

1. Put it up for adoption

2. Ask someone to kill it

3. say it died or ran away

When you foal post both the mother's and father's stats (statistics)

This means you must post:
Name
Breed
Height
Color

Code:Name
Breed
Height
Color

My staff and I will decide what the foal stats are, and whether it lives or dies. We may also decide whether you have twins or if your foal has a deformation

Other

If a Royal King gives you the death penalty, you die. There has to be a reason for you to get it. It was dicussed by the staff and everyone agreed to it.

Kings have all power - they can do as they wish. Just tell me, kay?

And the most important rule of all...Have Fun!

Wecome to Cladre, an island forgotten by Man. Once is was a trading center for the two legged walkers, but war and romours have caused the fearing people to believe it "cursed". Many men and animals have died here, for diseases riddled the land and poisoned the water. But recently, though Man shall never return, animals are coming here. How? one may ask. Fear. Man has driven all into this place only remembered in essence. Here they seek solace.

First came the Six, stallions and mares each numbering three. Together they had escaped a sinking ship. They lay on the beach, shaking fom hunger, dehydration, and exhaustion. After a time, once they had rested for a bit, they searched among the easy area, finding both lush vegetation and a crystal clear spring. They drank, ate, and went their seperate ways.

Once in a while they would meet together again, but it soon became apparant that they were growing farther apart. The stallions grew savage with what had once been their closest friends, and the mares began to bite with their vicious words. Eventually, they joined no more.

Each started their own religion, worshipping the pair to lead each part of the island. Only the North was safe, a common ground. Or, it was supposed to be. More blood was spilt there than anywhere else.

New horses came, and the king of each direction would offer the stallions homes in his land. The mares would be claimed by either the King or his Lords, as most called them.

As time wore on, the old Kings and Queens died, their children and then grandchildren taking their place. Then came the Uprising. The strongest lord of the South disgraced the new King of the West, taking his position from him along with his Queen. Soon, all the kingdoms were overrun, and the religions were changed to fit the needs conveniances of ruling parties.

Some newcomers who found power noted their leaders' colors, giving their areas the names, and somewhat paths, of the others: the king in the West was dark, and new ones are warned of their viciousness and brutality; the southern king was a dappled gray, and he seemed not to care much about either side; the white king, one of the few survivors of the Uprising, was "pure," his mind barring his thoughts about the war. Pain only hurts.

Each had a queen, mostly following the same views as them. Now their reign of terror - or apathy - begins, here, now. They are new, barely old enough to hold the crown. Shall you take it of them, or join their struggles?

Come, you new horse in this land of fueding. Where will you find your solace?
